Enjoy a free performance by BABYL at The Bay!
Experience the vocals of Ben Jacobs (BABYL), a high-energy singer/songwriter bringing a unique sound and style to park-goers. His music style ranges from folk, rock, pop, and oldies inspired by singer Sam Cooke, 80’s pop/rock performer, Prince, and 90’s rock performer, Jeff Buckley.
Reminder: It’s hot! Stay hydrated and bring bottled water.
About Sundays at The Bay
Sundays at The Bay is a free, outdoor weekly music and performance program offered from 6-7pm. Come to The Bay to experience a different local artist each week, from jazz, rock, genre fusion and marimbas to guitar and gospel.
RAIN OR SHINE: In the case of inclement weather, this event will move indoors to the Sarasota Garden Club (1131 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota 34236)
Tips for an enjoyable visit:
- The Bay park address is 1055 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota, FL 34236.
- Bring a chair to ensure a comfortable seat.
- Free public parking is located along Blvd of Arts, Van Wezel way, in front of the Van Wezel, and in front of the Blue Pagoda (655 N Tamiami Trl, Sarasota). Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas. Parking along Blvd of the Arts will be limited due to the Shade Structure construction in front of The Nest.
- Some events attract large crowds: Arrive early, be kind, and please be patient.
- Keep pets on a leash.
- Location changes or cancellations will be posted on Facebook, Eventbrite and on The Bay website approximately an hour before start time as the weather changes quickly.
