Enjoy a free performance by Amandah Jantzen at The Bay!
Amandah Jantzen, a native of San Francisco, has been singing jazz professionally since 1986, performing additionally as a solo pianist/vocalist since 1997, and touring extensively in over a dozen countries throughout Asia since early 2004. She’s been featured in Scott Yanow’s digest, “The Jazz Singers,” of the top 521 jazz singers of all time and has opened for several name acts during her adventurous career, including McCoy Tyner, Charlie Byrd, and Kevin Mahogany, to name a few, as well as entertaining for Prince William in the Maldives, and Billy Joel on a private island in the Florida Keys. No stranger to performing, Amandah has lit up countless venues with her delightful stage presence and witty banter, warming an audience up to experience her exceptional vocal renditions of the Great American Songbook and other classic and current gems spanning the past 100 years and multiple genres. Bouncing from Cole Porter to Coldplay and everything in between, she’s often asked of her preferred musical style: “Playing audience requests,” which is why she happily offers music menus to help guests choose their favorite tunes during her shows.

About Sundays at The Bay
Sundays at The Bay is a free, outdoor weekly music and performance program offered from 6-7pm. Come to The Bay to experience a different local artist each week, from jazz, rock, genre fusion and marimbas to guitar and gospel.
RAIN OR SHINE: In the case of inclement weather, this event will move indoors to the Sarasota Garden Club (1131 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota 34236)

The Bay park address is 1055 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota, FL 34236.
Bring a chair to ensure a comfortable seat.
Free public parking is located along Blvd of Arts, Van Wezel way, in front of the Van Wezel, and in front of the Blue Pagoda (655 N Tamiami Trl, Sarasota). Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas. Parking along Blvd of the Arts will be limited due to the Shade Structure construction in front of The Nest.
Some events attract large crowds: Arrive early, be kind, and please be patient.
Keep pets on a leash.
Location changes or cancellations will be posted on Facebook, Eventbrite and on The Bay website approximately an hour before start time as the weather changes quickly.
