The Gustav Viehmeyer Trio features Gustav Viehmeyer on guitar, Jack Berry on upright bass and Art Weiss on drums and percussion.
Gustav Viehmeyer rose to popularity playing the music of Django Reinhardt the legendary Gypsy guitarist. After years of performing, touring and composing, his music comprises a virtuoso blend of Jazz, Folk, Metal, and Gypsy Fusion that is sensuous, passionate, and filled with ire.
Jack Berry on upright bass has toured & recorded throughout the U.S. & Canada with a variety of artists/genres. A highlight to date in his musical career – performing at the Montréal International Jazz Festival in 2018.
Percussionist Art Weiss, a gold record producer, is one of the world’s most sought-after drummers. He has performed with legendary artists including Peter Frampton, Ozzy Osborn, Peter Lancaster, Norah Jones, Victor Wooten, and Mary J Blidge.
This all-star trio of international jazz musicians is a performance you won’t want to miss!

The Bay park address is 1055 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota, FL 34236.
Free public parking is located along Blvd of Arts, Van Wezel way, in front of the Van Wezel, and in front of the Blue Pagoda (655 N Tamiami Trl, Sarasota). Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas. Parking along Blvd of the Arts will be limited due to the Shade Structure construction in front of The Nest.
Some events attract large crowds: Arrive early, be kind, and please be patient.
Keep pets on a leash.
This event will take place rain or shine.
