The Y: Intro to Pickleball (New Players only)

Introduction to Pickleball for New Players is for people of all ages who are new to the popular sport of Pickleball. This class will provide a safe place for those who have never played pickleball before, or who are very inexperienced. It will focus on teaching basic terminology and techniques; and how to play the game so you can feel comfortable playing at other venues. Participants will be expected to use the equipment provided (i.e., no need to bring your own).

Recommended Attire: Comfortable shoes/ sneakers + comfortable clothing.

NOTE: If you are experienced, please refrain from registering to ensure there is enough space to accommodate those park guests who are interested in beginning to learn about Pickleball. Experienced players will be asked to withdraw from the class.

Oct 16 – **Municipal Auditorium NOTE: Special Treat for October 16 Pickleball! Local favorite Natalie’s fresh, high quality, clean label, delicious juice will be on hand to help refresh and re-energize you between games.
