Phase 1: December 12 Update

Starting December 14th, the parking lot between Blvd. of the Arts and 10th Street along Tamiami Trail will be closed for approximately three weeks. During this time, the parking lot will be sealed, restriped, and a 10-foot-wide pedestrian/bike path will be added along the east side of the lot to connect the Fruitville and 10th Street roundabouts. In addition, the City of Sarasota continues working on replacing the waterline along Blvd. of the Arts. While these construction projects are underway, we are encouraging visitors to access The Bay via 10th Street and then park along Van Wezel Way or at the Van Wezel parking lot.
