Please join in this extra special screening of “A League of Their Own” as All Americans Sue Parsons Zipay and Jeneane Leska, two of the original 1953 Rockford Peach Professional Women’s Baseball League players and CURRENT Players will be on hand at The Bay to sign autographs before and introduce the movie.

So please bring your baseball and come early to meet the players and get their autograph.

The Bay is showing “A League of Their Own” in tribute to the Second Annual All-American Women’s Baseball Classic which will take place at Ed Smith Stadium, November 17-19. (PG) – Two sisters, Kit and Dottie (Lori Petty and Geena Davis) participate in the Women’s Baseball Association, along with other girls on the “Rockford Peaches” managed by interesting, drunk manager Jimmy Dugan (Tom Hanks) and wild girl Mae Mordibeto (Madonna) they find themselves surrounded with drama and troubles.

Bring a chair to ensure a comfortable seat.

Free public parking is located along Blvd of Arts, Van Wezel way, in front of the Van Wezel, and in front of the Blue Pagoda (655 N Tamiami Trl, Sarasota). Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas.

Some events attract large crowds: Arrive early, be kind, and please be patient.

Keep pets on a leash.
