Enjoy a free performance by Jeff James at The Bay!
Based out of Sarasota, Florida, Jeff James is a Na Hokuhanohano award winner (Hawaiian Grammys). Born and raised on the islands of Hawaii, instantly you’ll feel the Island vibe in Jeff’s music. His musical roots come from his father Chuck James, who is a famous jazz drummer in Hawaii.Jeff is an accomplished singer songwriter,and multi instrumentalist. He plays the guitar, ukulele, piano, drums, and a variety of other instruments. He is a full-time professional musician and music educator.
Throughout his songwriting career Jeff has had dozens of placements in Japan, USA, and Philippines. Including Netflix’s popular show “Terrace House, Aloha State”. Most recently, Jeff’s song “Good” and “2 days in Hawaii ” were placed in CBS hit TV show Hawaii 5-0.
Jeff continues to grow and push his performance and writing styles everyday. He released his full-length wedding album entitled “Walking in Love” in late 2020.

About Sundays at The Bay
Sundays at The Bay is a free, outdoor weekly music and performance program offered from 6-7pm. Come to The Bay to experience a different local artist each week, from jazz, rock, genre fusion and marimbas to guitar and gospel.
RAIN OR SHINE: In the case of inclement weather, this event will move indoors to the Sarasota Garden Club (1131 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota 34236)

The Bay park address is 1055 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota, FL 34236.
Bring a chair to ensure a comfortable seat.
Free public parking is located along Blvd of Arts, Van Wezel way, in front of the Van Wezel, and in front of the Blue Pagoda (655 N Tamiami Trl, Sarasota). Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas. Parking along Blvd of the Arts will be limited due to the Shade Structure construction in front of The Nest.
Some events attract large crowds: Arrive early, be kind, and please be patient.
Keep pets on a leash.
Location changes or cancellations will be posted on Facebook, Eventbrite and on The Bay website approximately an hour before start time as the weather changes quickly.
